I am a peculiar number, with an odd twist.
Remove a single letter, and my parity will shift.
Without the letter "s," I'm a different kind altogether.
What number am I? It's a puzzle to ponder and treasure.
"six" could also work for this as IX is a roman numeral..."a different kind all together' ;-)
